Cubist Rose no 3.

I didnt get to finish this piece in time but will have it done for the exhibition.
My stained glass is inspired by the cubist movement. I began my design with a rose, a soft and natural form and transformed it using simple shapes, and subtle movement. The result is a 2D design which evokes the natural form of the rose with the clean simplicity of cubist design. I took this pattern and created 3D forms which gives the rose extra volume and allows for a candle to strengthen the colours of the glass from within.
