Selkie Sampler

Idea was based off quilt sampler - where different blocks used to create a piece. Wanted to try working with different types of glass and different tools and shapes to create a circular piece. Used flashed glass, opaque and various other types of glass. Then sandblasted, etched, painted and used colours to create various designs. Based around the selkie legends. Inspired by Tamsin Abbott and her stunning painted stained glass pieces from nature.
