Set in the Triana neighbourhood of Seville
one November after dark.

Inspiration: The symmetry and clarity of this scene bring balance and harmony to my mind.

Learning Experience: To create the illusion of night the canvas board was first painted with an
opaque black. I applied opaque colours from dark to light. Glazes were added to the sky.
Light red oxide of iron enhanced the surrounding glow of the street lights.
