Landscape with Snow after Vincent
Title: Landscape with Snow after Vincent
Medium: Acrylic Paint
Description: "Landscape with Snow after Vincent" is a homage to one of my greatest inspirations, Vincent van Gogh. During my four years living in the Netherlands, I frequently visited the Van Gogh Museum, where I would spend hours admiring and studying his masterpieces. The intricacy of his brush strokes and the vividness of his colors captivated me. In the NCAD evening class, I had the unique opportunity to not only observe but also attempt to paint in his style. This experience deepened my appreciation for the complexity and brilliance of his technique. This painting reflects my respect and admiration for van Gogh's artistry, capturing a serene snowy landscape inspired by his unique approach to color and texture. Through this piece, I aim to convey the profound influence van Gogh has had on my own artistic journey and my deep appreciation for his work.
